These UGG Boots were actually traditionally in Australia and New Zealand also known as Ugh or Ug boots as a more commonplace term and even before this burst of sudden popularity in the USA and other places Ugg boots was actually a term that was even present in Australian dictionaries as well. However many people also say that the original term for these boots was “ugly” and so the term ugg is more of a short form for ugly rather than a separate word; and this could be because of the shapelessness and the huge size that these boots used to originally be made like before they became this popular. However how far this fact is actually true cannot be stated, all we do know for sure is that these boots used to be worn by sheepherders in Australia.
But no matter what they used to be called now with their rise in popularity the typical sheepskin designs of the boots have been taken up companies who are now making wonderful practical designs out of these. So look for your closest ugg outlet because this time of the year there are usually UGG Boots sale that are on and that you can take advantage of.
